Our local cable company improved things for us recently.
Yup.
They organized all the shows we record on our DVR by grouping
programs of the same name in folders. All nice and tidy now. You go
in there, and there’s all our shows grouped by title.
Hit the select button on the remote control for a particular show
(gone are the days when we changed channels on the TV itself), and
zap! We’re looking in the folder with the individual episodes
listed. Perfect.
Except now, there doesn’t seem to be a way to get
back to where we started and see all the nice and tidily organized
folders again. We have to exit all the way out, then clamber back in.
Love it when they improve things for us.
I’m starting to feel more like Dr. McCoy from Star
Trek: The Motion Picture way back in ’79 – “I know engineers. They love to
change things”.
